Optical configuration of LCGT is listed as follows. In the present design, the second mode cleaner is discarded.

Seismic Noise Isolation

SAS is introduced for seismic noise isolation.

Mirror Suspension using sapphire fiber

Sapphire mirros are suspended by sapphire fibers. 

 

Length Control

Individual five length degrees of freedom (L+, L-, l+, l-, ls) should be separately sensed with good signal to noise ratio. Two modulations (pahse and amplitude) for the laser is used for this purpose.

Alignment Control

To keep Fabry-Perot cavity resonance, mirror alignment should be controled. Wave front sensing technique will be applied.
